Hi my name is Jessie. I don't know if you still update your site, but I saw it and noticed that you had a section for fans who can send in their stories about meeting Conan, so heres mine.
It was mid-August of this year August 15th 2005 to be exact. I was visiting New York with my mom and younger sister. I had gotten tickets to Late Night and was excited from the moment I got up. So around 1pm my mom, sister and I got in line for the show. there were about 4 people in front of us, but they were very nice and we got along well. Around 4pm these people came out and gave us wrist bands to get into the show. Finally at 4:30pm we were let in, my first thought was that the studio was small. We were lucky and got really good seats. First a warm-up comedian came out and then finally Conan himself came out, I couldn't believe he is so tall and ten times hotter in person. He was extremely funny and everyone laughed at his jokes, after about 20 minutes or so he left and went back stage to start the show. The show was fun Steve Carrell ( I hope thats right) was on and a couple other people I didn't know. Once the show was over we left the studio. I really wanted to met him, so I waited by the elevators I had come out of thinking maybe he would to, and then a guy I had met that day he worked at NBC( we had talked while everyone waited in line, he was keeping everyone entertained) came down and told me that Conan didn't come out these elevators, but some others that are located around the corner. I was so upset, he said my chances weren't good, but to go there anyway and wait maybe 15 minutes and then leave. I have to say right now if that guy had come down maybe 5 minutes later what happened next wouldn't have happeded. So I went to the elevators and waited maybe FIVE minutes and there he was, Conan O'Brien himself, I just about died. I gave him a hug, and he signed the rolling stones magizine he had done in 1996 and I got a picture with him! Afterwards, I called everyone on my cell phone and screamed everytime someone answered the phone. Conan is a sweet guy and anyone that has met him I would hope they would say the same. The End.
