About the name: The Conezone is named after something that Conan says often on the show. "Conezone" can refer to Conan himself or the actual show. I like to think of it as the show. He jokes a lot by saying things like, "I want people to watch this show and say 'I'm going to enter the Conezone' or 'I'm in the Conezone, man'" (or something along those lines) or say that his nickname when he was a child was "The Conezone". His other nicknames include Coney, C-Dog (I forgot who gave him this nickname), Conedog, Conesy (the Rock gave him that one), Snowcone (given to him by "George W. Bush") and Ice Cream Conealicious (given to him by Jennifer Love Hewitt I believe) and there's probably thousands more. I myself like the Ice Cream Conealicious one the most. But anyhow, that's how the site got it's name - the Conezone. It's a zone for Conan fans.

About the actual site: My inspiration for this site actually came from other Conan sites... I visited the "Fanfare" page on NBC.com's Conan site and to my dismay found that all the sites, although choc-full of Conaney goodness, were several years old and hadn't been updated or had been shut down completely! I had only been watching Conan for maybe a year at this point in time and I wanted a new Conan site with frequent updates that new Conan followers like myself and loyal Conan fans that have been watching since the first episode could both appreciate. So I set out on a mission - a mission to bring young and old Conan fans together in harmony on a website that is frequently updated and does not have impossible-to-read lime green on stars layouts!!!! This is my promise to you, the Conan fan. I will update as frequently as possible and always try to improve the site and make the Conan community a better place!!!
