Cone, Jno P (Pink) to Burke, Mollie B., 27 Sept 1881

John Pink Cone was a merchant in the Denson Springs community prior to 1880.  The records show that he was married to Mollie Bell Burk in Anderson County.  She was the daughter of Joseph Hudson and Elizabeth Anderson Burke.  Tragedy struck them early and tree of their young children died at an early age.  Fannie, born May 8, 1884, Died Nov 21 1888.  Burk died and a baby girl and the Mother died during childbirth on April 18, 1886.  The Mother, baby and Fannie Mae are buried at Providence Cemetery.  During January 1889, He married again, this time in Cherokee County, Texas to Mary Caledonia "Donie" Martin.  This John P. Cone was a boarder with Edward Cone and Wife Nancy Ferguson.
