| When I left this world it was hard on everyone Espically my Sister. You can see My Sister cry for me.. Because she's My Sister. You say "She's just a kid".. But she's My Sister And she still hurts. You say she can't see me... But My Sister does. You say she can't talk to me since I'm gone.... But My Sister does. I lay next to her while she sleeps... To protect My Sister. I hear her speak to me.... every night. I hear her say" I love you brother'. I can tell her " I love you too Sister". I will always be Her Brother. She will always be My Big Sister. | Please dont forget about the brother's and sister's of SIDS. They are the BIG brother's or sister's that are confused about WHY their sibling's had to die. During this tragic time in their lives it may be difficult for them to understand WHY this had to happen. SIDS is such a mystery that adults have a hard time comprehending it let alone a CHILD. Talk to the sibling's and love them. They may have some very hard questions they need answered. Talk to them about their ANGEL brother/sister. I know it has been important to Kayla to have someone listen to her. They may need to just cry to you or have you hold them to make them feel better. Let them know that you are here for them too . I think it is easy to think that the little ones effected by SIDS are going to be OK . Its easy in all of the sadness and grief to let them slide (Coming from a loved ones perspective) because they SEEM like they are ok or are dealing with it well. DONT let them feel left out. |
