Alan Góes was one of the first students of Manimal. He was just a boy of 12 years when came in the world of Jiu-Jitsu and became one of the greatestes names of the sport. Manimal took him from the white to purple belt and then left him in care of Manimal's master Carlson Gracie, while was graduating on Busines Administration and had to left Jiu-Jitsu for a wile.

Manimal were in USA when Alan fights his first vale-tudo, and trained him to fight against Shamrock in Japan.
