The intial Umbi Gumbi Tour was back in February 1995, however a rebel tour was held in September 1995. Some of the touring group from February joined the September tour, they just couldn't get enough of this cave diving stuff in the mount (Mt. Gambier).

Andrew and Peter Grill needed more assistant instructor time to qualify as Sinkhole instructors. Stuart, Micheal, Peter R and JD were students in the Sinkhole course and Howard just wanted to dive !

This was my first intorduction to Mt. Gambier. Mid winter, what a time of year to choose. It was bitterly cold, rain, drizzle and howling winds. The warmest place was in the water at 14 deg C. One day we even had snow !!
