Bees - GET NEW GOAL JUDGES. The events of last night has really shown that the current goal judges are, in my honest opinion, at best incompetent and at worst....... (I'd better leave this blank for fear of court action.) To admit that "I'm not sure" when asked by the Ref whether or not the puck went into the net is unacceptable from someone whose job it is to watch the puck around the goal area. I saw the puck go through the net on its upward trajectory and unless the goal judge was asleep or not looking she cannot have failed to see the same. Ask most of those in the hive last night whether or not they saw the net move, and the majority would say that it did (I'm not sure about the Devil's supporters, but it would be interesting to hear from them). I know its not an easy job, but for some time now there must have been doubt on their judgement considering the over-inflated SOG that have been regularly recorded at the Hive. Last night for instance the Shots on the Bees' goal for the three periods were 9 (about right); 26 (I know we were under pressure but that's just ridiculous); and 22 (about 10 would have been right) for a total of 57!! Do something Bees management before it gets really serious. Oh yes, and how about getting new nets? I know its not much to ask, but now we have lost three points due to our unacceptable equipment. If I feel like this what must the players be going through? To make our misery even worse we lost Dale Junkin with a shoulder injury, and he will be out for at least two weeks. It never rains...................
