I'm not going to say too much about this game. It was obvious that Storm wanted revenge for the previous game, but that can't be the only reason that the score was so high. In short, Bracknell were just abysmal. They couldn't defend at all. I wouldn't blame Bernie for the result, he had an OK game, and tried throughout, there was just no defence in front of him.
Having said that, Manchester really did work hard for the result, and never really went into cruise mode. It can also be no coincideence that they hit such good form with the return of Dave Morrison, who is the key to many of their attacking moves.
I came away from the Nynex feeling disillusioned and furious, certainly the worst I have felt since Urquhart was in charge. I just hope Bracknell have learnt their lesson, and never play so pish again.
