Also...for any of you interested in starting a haunt for your home.....I am forming a halloween prop building group that will be building props all through the year. This group will be made up of mostly members of our online group at Halloween Forum.com that live here in the middle of the state of NC. We are having a get together at my house in the month of Dec., so if any of you are interested in joining please email me & I will send you the info on the group. We'll probably meet every 3 months & each of us will build a prop to completion through the instructions of a member. We already have a list started with projects. These will be projects that are made from supplies you have at home or from Lowe's. I will let you know ahead of time...... we are people that talk halloween 365 days/year! We're kind of nuts about it. We all have haunts and just want to learn from each other how to build other things. If you are not a builder you can bring your eagerness to learn!! Please email me for any info. email: collins1219@aim.com Also for those of you not in the state of North Carolina but Halloween fools just the same we have an online building group that can be found in our Halloween Forum. Again if you have any questions please email me. |
Halloween Prop Building Group....please join us! |
2009 Activities |
Januray 6, 2009 We had our first meet of the Carolina Haunters Halloween Prop Building Group and what a good time we had. The meet was a party at my house where we ate hardy & talked about getting together and what we want to build in the future meets. Some of the members brought along things they made which got everybody even more excited. Fun part is everybody has their own style of building things so I think we can learn a lot from each other. First official build is March 14th & we are starting out with an easier project.....tombstone building. Pictures coming soon. |
March 14, 2009 The meet for tombstone building is coming up this Saturday. Its looking like we are gonna have a good size group & I will be sure to get pictures as I did not get to many at the January meet cause we were having such a good time I forgot to grab the camera! |

April 22, 2009 Greetings All! We are getting ready to have our 3rd North Carolina Haunters meet coming up May 2, 2009. We also will be covering aging & weathering of tombstones. I'll be sure this time to get good photo's. |

Auntie is sending yards of material from Chiacgo to make the additional monks cloaks.... should be arriving in the mail today. Will get pictures in the monks section soon. |
