Colleen's Dream

Welcome to my dream.....My name is Colleen I am 13 years old and live in Wisconsin. I am normally a shy girl, but I will stand up for myself or what I belive in. This year with the help of my mom I joined the Miss American COED Pageant in Wisconsin. And became a state finalist. I'll do my best to explain what the pageant stands for and what I learned as a state finalist. I will walk you through each step as I faced them, tell you what mom felt, and show you that dreams can come true with just a little hard work and a passion for what you want to achive. I'd like to say congrats to all the 2004 winners, and to those of us who didn't win no matter what we are all winners. We met new friends, learn about team work, we laughed togeather, and most of us cried togeather. In our parents eyes we will always be winners we made it this far. My mom told me I may not be the state queen but I'm still her queen and I'm sure your parents all feel the same, we don't have "pageants moms" we have loving, caring, honest, down to earth moms &dads, lets never forget that! I'm going to miss you all I'll see most of you next year !!!! I would like to say TY to all my friends, family, and community for helping me achieve my dreams and believing in me even during the times I wanted to give up. You all hold a special place in my heart.
