This is a picture of a basketball player flying to the hoop with the bible passage , "all things are possible to him that believeth." An angel is under him praying for his flight. This picture shows the impossible, a man flying. It reminds me of the journey that the early christian church took throughout the first couple of centuries. A journey of courage and suffering. A journey of martyrdom. A journey of persecution. The church grew out of that into the most influential religion in the world.
