| -name:Lenuta Melania Rus -birthdate: 11th of February 1969 -place of birth: Drobeta-Turnu Severin She started o gymnastics at the age of 6 in 1975 in her home town Drobeta-Turnu Severin in the county Mehedinti. -In 1980 she moved to Bucharest to train at CSS2 with Mihai Demetrescu.( Eugenia Golea and Augustina Badea are from the same club.) -In 1983 she was selected for Deva. -She retired in 1987 and finished High-school in Deva to then go on to study at the University for sports in Bucharest from 1987 until 1990 -She is married to Mihai Gurlui.He is also a coach and has worked with Elena Velicu. -Lenuta and Mihai started working together in 1989, they have achieved very good coaching results. -Lenuta and Mihai have two children, Alexander-Stefan who's 7 years old and Bianca-Gabriela who's 4 years old. -In 1994 until 1998 Lenuta was a coach at the Hamilton Mountain Gym Elites in Canada where they worked with Joelle Ouellette who was selected for the Canadian team. -Now, Lenuta and her husband work at Grand River Gymnies in Canada.
