The information on this site is the result of my own research, the research of other Cody "cousins" and oral family history. Please do not take everything as fact but as a lead to help in your own research. Everyone makes mistakes so I welcome any additions or corrections.

My earliest known Cody ancestor was Pierce Cody of Spotsylvania, Virginia. There is already an excellent web site that has been thoughly researched so that information will not be included here. Pierce's son William Cody who married Sinai Stacy is the father of my Zedekiah Cody who lived in Hancock County, Tennessee. That is where my research starts, so........
