This is Harley, my father's new pride and joy. Harley was Born on December 7th, 2001. Parents were bred by Mark Lemoyre. Harley and a sibling were sold at 'More than Pets' in Cornwall, Ontario. Owned by Tina Mondoux. I highly recomend this pet store. :)
I bought my dad this cockatiel for his birthday after he fell in love with my special needs tiel.It was late but we got Harley around the first week of March.  He has always wanted a friendly cockatiel but was afraid he would do something wrong to jepordize it's health, so I promised to keep an eye on the bird to make sure it getts everything it needs. Although, I'm sure my dad will do a great job. I also lent him my cockatiel handbook to read up on. He is very happy with this bird. It was well taken care of and is very people friendly.

How Harley came into our lives....
Once I knew how much my father wanted a tiel I called a couple people in my area that I knew had birds for a breeder but they didn't know any of tiel breeders. I knew I had saw some in a couple pet stores so I called around to see how friendly they were. Only one of the three stores had friendly birds.
I knew they were farely friendly there because I had seen them out when I was purchasing bloodworms and feeder guppies for my frogs. So when they told me that one of the two had been sold and the other was very friendly I asked them to hold it for me. They were very nice and held the bird for me till the week end. When week end came I went to pick up the bird and they would not let me take it becuase it had had an accident while I was on my way to the city. It was playing in it's cage and got it's toenail caught in a toy and started to bleed. By the time I got there they had stoped the bleeding and it looked really good but the employee said that the owner Tina would kill her if she let the bird go being in this condition before she could see it. In my books this was a good store owner. Not out for the almighty buck but looking out for the animals. So I more than happlily left the store without the bird, well, happy that it was a caring store, not happy about not getting the bird.lol.
I called the next day to see how the bird was doing and everything looked great. They thought it best for me to wait till the next week end to pick up the bird to be on the safe side and I was happy with that.
So the next week I went out with my father to get the bird. He/she looked great. Very vibrant and Spunkie comparied to my Quasi. Marc was there and looked like he hated to part with his baby. I can say for sure though that he has nothing to worry about. We love our birdies. :) I love all my babies (pets). Tina was also there and was very nice. She gave us an avian vet that she highly recomends and told us who to stay away from. I of course bought some more toys for Quasi and my father bought some for his little angel. Tina and Marc gave us one of the toys, Marc had made for the tiel cage in the store, that my dad's tiel seemed to really love. My father thought that was very nice of them. My father now planns on building a play gym on top of Harleys cage and a special needs one for Quasi's cage in the near future. He got the idea from the one that was at the store.  Tina told me before I left that if I had any concerns about the tiel not to hesitate to call her.  I have to say, we are very happy with this bird. I almost wanted to keep it for myself. :) But at least I get to visit any time I want. My Parents only live next door to us.
