Welcome to Coaster Crazy's Thrill of the Week featured section. The main purpose of this weekly event was to give the thrill ride seekers a place in which they could learn about the history and power of some of the greatest thrill rides, not just roller coasters, and theme parks in the world. August 14th, 2000 - The largest and tallest ferris wheel in the world, built for the year 2000, has been a major attraction in London since it's opening. At 135 meters tall, the London Eye offers the highest observation point in London, and also rises on the London skyline as the 4th tallest structure.
August 7th, 2000 - The newest giga coaster to grace the planet, Steel Dragon 2000 currently stands as the world's tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster. Designed by Morgan, this monster is guaranteed to be the coaster focused on for 2000!
June 24th, 2000 -The Incredible Hulk roller coaster at the highly rated Islands of Adventure park in Orlando, Florida, opened as B&M's first launched coaster, but the green metal machine offers much more than a launch. The coaster travels over water, in tunnels, under bridges, and goes through a stunning seven inversions. Designed by Werner Stengel, who also designed the previous Thrill of the Week; Nemesis, the Incredible Hulk has proven to be one of his greatest achievements!
June 12th, 2000 -One of Europe's most ambitious roller coaster projects ever, this roller coaster is popular for actually having cattle grazing beneath it, and rates as one of the greatest wooden roller coasters on the most prestigious top ten lists on the planet. Megafobia has transformed the pleasant Oakwood Pleasure Park into a destination referred to by most coaster enthusiasts, as the number one place to visit in Wales!
June 6th, 2000 -Located at La Ronde in Montreal, this massive dueling wooden roller coaster overlooks the St. Lawrence River, while still delivering one of the most amazing rides ever!
May 29th, 2000 -This roller coaster, also Europe's first inverted, proved that large drops, unimaginable speed, and an amazing length of track are not necessary to create one of the world's best roller coasters.
