| Unlike most of the characters on JAG, Clayton Webb does not work at JAG. He works for the CIA. |
| Despite this fact, Webb does tend to have ties to JAG. He continually reappears with different missions he requires Harm and Mac's help with. There missions almost always wind up with Harm and Mac getting themselves into some sort of trouble. |
| On sereval occasions, Webb has also helped the JAG crew, Harm in particular, out. In the episode "Ghost Ship" he appeared to give Bud information in regards to an investigation that Harm and Mac were conducting on the USS Hornet. He also helped Harm to escape from jail in the episode "People V Rabb" when Harm was accused of murder. |
| Webb also appeared in the episode "Boomerang". No one knows his exact reason for being in Australia, but according to Bud and Harm, it was "mission impossible". |
