Mutiny As Mac prepares to give a lecture on a famous naval case involving mutiny and executions aboard the USS Somers in 1842, she finds herself daydreaming about the events imagining her co-workers in the roles of those aboard the ship. Through Mac's daydreams, the story unfolds about the events leading up to the hanging of three supposed mutineers by the ship's captain, Commander MacKenzie. Though cleared by a panel of inguiry, MacKenzie is charged with murder and court-martialed at the insistence of the Secretary of the Navy, whose son supposedly organised the mutiny and was one of the three men hanged. |
Miracles A Marine Sergeant-Major is found crouching by his wounded wife in an alley. He claims the spirit of a deceased Navy Chaplin he knew in Vietnam lead him to her after she was attacked. The only way Harm can defend the Sergeant-Major on a charge of attempted murder is to prove this miracle actually occurred, which may result in the Chaplin being declared a Saint by the Catholic Church. |
