Harmon Rabb Jr.
"Following in his fathers footsteps as a naval aviator, Lt. Cmdr. Harmon Rabb Jr suffered a crash while landing his Tomcat on a storm tossed carrier at seas. Diagnosed with night blindness, Harm transferred to the Navy's Judge Advocate General Corp, which investigates, defends and prosecutes the law of the seas. There, with fellow JAG lawyer Major Sarah MacKensie, he now fights in and out of the courtroom with the same daring and tenasity, that made him a Top Gun, in the air."

Cmdr. Harmon "Harm" Rabb Jr. was introduced to audiences of JAG as a fresh faced Lt. in the pilot episode titled JAG. During the pilot season, Harm was promoted to Lt. Cmdr, before being promoted to Cmdr in the season five episode "Contemptuous Words".
Harm has spent a lot of time tracing down his father, who was shot down in the Vietnam War and taken to a POW camp. Up until the opening episode of season four, Harm harboured a belief that his father was still alive and living in Russia. In the episode "Gyspy Eyes" he learned of his father life after leaving the POW camp. Audiences also learnt about his fathers last day in the US Navy in the episode "Ghosts of Christmas Past".
At the start of season five, Harm briefly returned to flying, after having an operation to correct his vision. However, he returned to JAG shortly after, realising that it would never take him where he wanted to go.
Harm has had several relationships over the years. These include relationships with Annie Pendry, Jordan Parker and Renee Peterson. There has also been mention of several past relationships, including one between Harm and Diane (who was played by Catherine Bell in the episode Skeleton Crew), which was seen in the episode "Death Watch". At the end of this episode Harm and Mac kissed, but to the disappointment of many shippers, Harm and Mac are yet to get together.
Harm has also had his share of adversaries, in and out of the courtroom. One of these is Clark Palmer, who has plotted against Harm on numerous occasions. There is also Cmdr Mick Brumby, an Australian Naval Officer who is not only competition in the courtroom, but also for Mac's heart.
