ON THE SET: The challenges are all good things; it's what makes Clayton so interesting. Sometimes he's a good guy, sometimes he's a bad guy, sometimes he's comedic relief. He's a three-piece-suited character with all these colours. I'm so lucky. I'm so glad I walked into the room and they made him a character.
ON THE CHARACTER: It's fin each time [the writers] add things to the character. Sometimes I think the writers are just throwing me curves to see what I'll do. They keep placing [Webb] where his pragmatism is in conflict with his moral sense and he has to wrestle with what's the right thing to do. I think people like that. He's always in a moral quandary - they love it when he makes the right decision. |
