Mick Brumby |
Mick Brumby originally showed up in season four, in the episode "Mr. Rabb goes to Washington". An episode later, he was joint counsel in the case regarding the murder of Mac's husband, Chris Ragle, and he tried to pin the murder on her. |
Commander Mick Brumby was on exchange at JAG from the Royal Australian Navy. He stayed at JAG for just over a season, becoming somewhat enemies with Harm. |
Brumby left JAG part way through season five, when he was recalled to Australia in the episode "Life or Death". The whole crew had a farewell party for him at McMurphy's Taven, where they sang "Waltzing Matilda" as he walked out. |
Brumby made a reappearance in the episode "Boomerang" which was filmed in Australia. The crew flew out in order for Harm to defend a US sailor or a murder charge from many years ago, in which Brumby was prosecuting. |
There was then a spell with no Mick Brumby, before he returned in the end of "Surface Warfare" to tell Mac that he'd resigned his comission in the Navy and was moving to Washington to be with her. |
In "Boomerang" Mick also upset Harm and Mac shippers everywhere when he proposed to Mac, with whom he has been infatuated since he first saw her. Mac was unsure though, and wore his ring on her right hand until she made up her mind one way or the other. |
