Ok ok, I know i ain't updated the news for a while, but I'm back now and here is the latest news...
CREAMFIELDS
Well - what an event that was, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, saw loads of top DJs, met loads of top people and heard tonnes of top music!!

WOW - that word sums the whole night up!! It was amazing and I haven't heard anyone say any different, it was brilliant, the whole crowd was absolutely mental on the dancefloor, especially when he played tunes like Binary Finary 1998 - i mean, 2 years old and yet still so hot!! What a tune that is!!
He mixed solidly for 6 whole hours, and whipped the crowd up into a frenzy until the lasers kicked in and the tunes got harder and more and more euphoric, finishing off with my current fave - Gaia - 4 Elements, and then one more after the crowd begged him to drop another one!!
I took quite a few pictures that night - to see 21 of them visit the PVD Pictures section.

Yup that's right, Alpha Omega is to be playing @ an after party gig in Birmingham alongside Fergie and Andy Farley!! Woah - good luck to him I say. I don't know all the details as yet, but they'll be posted on here as soon as I know!!

Yes it's true, the legendary Sasha has pulled out of doing Creamfields, the lord of progressive trance will not be donning his cape and hammering away @ those decks this time round. Wonder why????? anyone know?!!
OAKEY AND SEB BACK TO BACK!! WOWZER!!
Yehaaaaaaaaa - Oakey and seb Fontaine are to be doing a 2 hour back to back set for Radio 1's Essential mix live from Creamfields!! Now how good is that gonna be? That is one Essential Mix that has got to be taped!!

CREAMFIELDS MEET UP
Not sure of the EXACT arrangements but I think most ppl (DMCers mainly) are meeting up @ 6pm at the swimming pool gate. If u're going, head for there ok? twill be one mad meet up if everyone turns up!!

0012am ANOTHER SUNDISSENTIAL DEATH?????????
I read on the Gatecrasher message board that someone else died @ Sunnyd last Sunday after taking 2 Es, apparently he was 37. ANOTHER death?!! That makes 5 now in the last few months!! That club is seriously doomed now, @ least @ the Que club. (that's if the rumours are true). And how come it's always SunnyD that the deaths occur and not @ every other club?
If anyone has any info about this, ie if it's true or not - then let me know!! Mail Clubbers Commonwealth.
Just remember if you're gonna take stuff - do it carefully!!
CLUBBERS COMMONWEALTH ALBUM SOON TO BE RELEASED!!
Yup that's right - the brand new Clubbers Commonwealth mix album (mixed by yours truly) will be released around next week!! I got the first and second sides mixed yesterday morning, although I may have to re do the second side as I messed up a couple of times!! It's going to be a double album - 3 hrs spread over 2 tapes, over 40 tunes in total, kicking off with some housey stuff ('Highgate - Voices', 'Rockafellas - Da Boss Track' and other tunes like that mixed in with some chilled out Trance like 'Blue Amazon - Breathe' and Steffano Libelle's latest German Import offering which kicks off the mix after an intro of the melodic part of Mario Piu's 'Techno Harmony'!!
Then Side 2 glides swiftly into the slightly harder and more uplifting Trance - 'Pulser - Lightwave', 'Sunburst Eyeball', 'Flutchitt - Mutterhorn' and bangers like that.
Side 3, (which at the time of writing has yet to be mixed - will probably be done on Saturday morning) is going to get even more banging with Hard Trance tunes like one of my all time favourite tunes 'Parker and Clind - Generator' and 'Rouge - Platform 7' and then side 4 will be the most banging of all with the Hard House hammerers coming pounding in to round off the mix in style!! Tunes on the Hard House side will be stuff like 'BK - Don't give up', 'Fergie - House of pain' 'Praga Khan - Injected with a poison', 'BK and Nick Sentinence - Here it comes' and loads of other tunes to rock along to!!
So basically it's 4 different mixes, one on each side of tape, but should be treated as one whole mix, ie - listening to the tapes in order, as it's gonna be one huge build up the hammering Hard House at the end!!
This tape will be available from this site, and it will be free (simply cos I don't wanna end up getting done for Copyright infringement for selling them!!). As long as they're serious requests then People will be sent them by post. I've been mixing almost exactly a year now, so I think it's about time I did a proper tape to give out to people, I mean I've been planning on making one since about New Year time, but I've never done it properly, I've always messed up somewhere in the mix, but I'm a lot better now than I used to be. For example I found one of my old mix tapes from 13th Jan the other day, and it was absolutely appalling!! I cringed as soon as I pressed PLAY!! Tis practice that's all it takes!!
Hard House seems to be my speciality when it comes to Mixing, my HH mixes come out 10 times better than my Trance ones - but the Trance one's are catching up!!
Anyway - more news, including full track listings will be up on this site as soon as the album is released!!
I still gotta design a cover for it yet!!
CLUBBERS COMMONWEALTH SURVEY RETURNS
Just a quick note to say thankyou to everyone who has returned their CC Cubbing Survey to me, a lot of you sent them back very quickly, so thanks lot , I'll hang around for a bit longer before I put the results online, to wait for any more last minute returns. SASHA CANCELS HIS SET @ CREAMFIELDS - ALLEGEDLY!!
Rumours are flying around that the legendary Sasha has cancelled his appearance @ Creamfields next week!!
I really do hope this is not true - because every big clubbing event needs a DJ like Sasha playing - simply to draw in the punters and raise the atmosphere!! Like I said it's only a rumour so don't quote me on it, but it would be a shame if he doesn't attend!! Still even if he doesn't we still have Oakey and PVD don't we?!!
Why is it that DJs do that though? Pull out of massive events like Creamfields - I mean playing hammering tunes in front of thousands of people in a massive tent having the time of your life and getting paid 1000s of pounds just to play records for a couple of hours!! I mean wot could they possibly be doing instead that's going to beat that!! Tis crazy ain't it - they get paid in a couple of nights wot we get paid in a year!!
I mean Judge Jules for example - £25000 for playing @ 2000GC on NYE - absolutely ridiculous, they're smart tho the DJs, they know that the bigger they are, the more they can ask for , and they know full well that the club will pay them, no matter how much they charge!! Ahhh the life of the DJ eh?!!

GOD'S KITCHEN TO MOVE TO CODE!!
Yup that's right , the banging Brummie Club God's Kitchen is set to move venues from the old Sanctuary to a brand new venue - CODE. According to the GK ads for the new venue - it is a state of the art new clubbing venue, and looking at piccies, it looks very class indeed, much more spacious looking than the Sanctuary. Apparently the last night God's Kitchen will be held @ the Sanctuary is next friday night (25th August). And the opening night @ Code will be held at the beginning of September.
Watch this space for more news on this move.
PVD 6 HOUR SET @ CRASHER 2ND SEPTEMBER - ANOTHER BIG ONE!! Yup - the king of Trance returns to the Sheffield Homeland for another stonking nite of thundering beats and uplifting melodies!! This looks set to be another big meet up, so keep me posted of who's going etc, cos i'll defo be there - cos I've never seen one of PVD's 6 hr sets b4!! - Cannot wait!!
DOWNLOADABLE MIXES, MP3'S AND TUNES COMING SOON TO CLUBBERS COMMONWEALTH yup that's right - Clubbers Commonwealth is soon to have a whole new section dedicated to music downloads!! MP3's of tunes, WMA's of my mixing and other stuff. for the time being the mixing Downloads will only be samples of my mixing as I have yet to work out a way of uploading a full mix onto my site, cos a full mix of say 45 mins would be a good 20megs (and that's after compression/conversion to WMA/mp3) which would be impossible to upload onto my site cos for a start Geocities only allow you 15 megs of webspace per site, and it doesn't upload files that are more than about 4 megs!! I've been converting them all from WAV's to WMA's and that reduces the size more than half but an 11 minute 3 tune mini mix i tried to upload was 5.15 megs and that failed.
I am at the moment looking round for new webspace that can support such downloads.
But I shouldn't have a prob recording and uploading tunes onto the site and putting them into MP3's or WMA's for you all to download!! This feature will begin to surface in the next week or so, so downloadable mixing samples will begin to appear in the next few days, followed by downloadable tunes!!
Also if you are not satisfied with just listening to samples of my tapes, then you will soon be able to order full mix tapes from me, if u like what u hear on the site. They will be free to every genuine request and will be in the post within 24 hours!! Howzat for service?!! When all this is online you will be notified by email!!
TUNES SET BACK
Yup - both 'Agnelli and Nelson -Hudson Street' and 'Delerium - Silence' have had their release dates put back. Hudson St will now be out on 28th August, and Silence will now be out on 4th September, well that's the remix release, don't know what happened to the notmal version, that was supposed to be released the previous week!! WATCH THIS SPACE!!

Latest News 8th August 2000 CREAMFIELDS UPDATE
Yes I can @ last go to Creamfields, I got the time off
work, and my last day @ work before I go to Uni will
be 24th August. So yup I can go, I'm probably gonna
be going with Manik, cos I was originally going to go
with Alpha Omega and Fruitbat, but they're off to
Ibiza instead.
Not sure that that many people off DMC etc are
actually going which is a bit annoying, but we'll have
to see, I think I'll set up a Creamfields page later
so we can see who is going so we know who to meet
with etc. I'll keep you posted...

Coming to Clubbers Commonwealth soon is the Find
that Clubber section, where u can post your
messages to try and find clubbers that you have met
and never got round to getting their number or email
addy. Beleive me it's happened to me many times,
where I've met someone and then really wished I'd got
their name and number etc!! Well if that's happened
to you then you will soon be able to post your
messages for ppl on this very site and with a bit 'o
luck you'll get a response!! The chances are, with
everyone off DMC and places like that, knowing each
other, the chances of getting in touch with a friend
of someone off DMC are quite high, seeing as everyone
seems to know everyone else in Crasher etc!! Email

Yup that's right, I think there are Promo copies of this tune buzzing around at the moment, but it's proper release is set for 21st August, with a load of remixes coming out the week after!!
