Well there it is then the Love Parade is now over, all the hype and the build up - tis all over.
I hafta say I didn't enjoy it that much, me was disapointed that the whole thing was overun with beer bellies just out to get pissed and not bother with the music, that really dampened the atmosphere I reckon. And all that about a parade, I can hardly call it that, I mean all they did was drive round and round a park, not attall like they promised it would - Driving round the streets of Leeds - nope me don't fink so!! I mean twas ok I suppose, I mean there was a good turn out that's for sure, thousands of people there but as one girl me and Helen met said - 'There ain't enough love here!!'. She was nice, we sat with her and her friend on that grass for a smoke which was nice, she goes to us 'You're the only 2 people we've felt we can come up and talk to!!' Awwwwwwww!!
Anyway that was halfway through mine and Helen's 2 hour treck round and round the park looking for Messy and co. Lucky we didn't get separated, well actually we did for about 10 mins and I was crapping myself , all I did was turn away for 5 secs to take a pic of the Dance Anthem's Float *cringe!!
Anyway we found each other again and twas ok, we figured the only way to actually stay together was to connect our dummies together raaaaahhh, but that didn't last too long cos it proved rather uncomfortable, me still really wishes me had got a photo, but never got round to it grrrrrrr!!
Crasher float was banging, chockablock wiv cyberkids which was great - the happy family of the crasher crew!!
But twas sooo annoying you're trying to dance and then the fookin' piss heads come pushing past not giving a stuff for us cyberkids. Soooooo annoying!!
Me was sooo paranoid about me crasher logo on me back , cos me spent ages cutting it out etc and then ppl kept brushing past and me kept worrying that it was all gonna end up getting ripped off, but it turned out it was fiiiiiiinnnee!!
Well anyway it started to rain and rain @ any festival is a nightmare, and although it wasn't very hard, it just added to the crap atmosphere and me didn't like it.
Well anyway we all went off to crasher early in the evening, me had to get the train cos there was no room for me in the taxi and car :@(((((((((- fookin 1 and 1/2 hours on this crappy old train packed full of knackered clubbers back to sheffield. Twas a nightmare, and some bloke getting arsy wiv the guard on the train lol!!
Well me arrived in Sheffield, knackered, too late to get home, pissed off, lonely and generally just wanting to lie down there and then and sleep till Xmas!! But I thought 'Well I'll give Crasher a try', not sure what time Crasher closed their doors me was anxious to get there ASAP cos me didn't wanna get refused entry cos then I'd have been TOTALLY fooked, nowhere to go till insoms in the morning!! Mind u I fink Area 51 opens @ nite so I spose I could've gone there.
But anyway after spraying my hair yellow and getting all my Cyber gear on in the toilets, and waiting ages for a taxi (and realising it would have been 10 times as quick to walk!!) I made it into Crasher wiv there only being a smallish queue and into the club of dreams no probs, for about dead midnight it woul d have been. Well as soon as I walked in those doors, all me pissed offness disapeared and me was well up for it. With the prospect of Tiesto and Bond back to back for 4 hours who wouldn't?
Well The nite was absoltely hammering, the music was spot on, I mean even Judge Jules was good!! *faints with disbeleif!!
When he dropped Marc et Claude - I need your lovin' , that was fookin' amazing, esp as I had 'I NEEEED YOUR LOVIN' written in fridge letters on me top!! Damn, me just remembers that bass kicking in - woah!!
Another top tune he dropped was the amazing new single from Agnelli and Nelson - Hudson Street, wow wot a fookin' amazing tune!! Damn that was a real crowd pleaser that was, me was on the stage for that!!
The lasers where exceptionally good in there, the massive swirling ones and everything - looked fookin brilliant!!
Tiesto and Bond back to back rocked big time - and they played Delerium - Silence - raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhm, wot a tune that is I mean come on there can't be any clubber out there worth their socks who doesn't like that tune!!
Anyway that really rocked the club that did.
Well that's just about it from Crasher, other than to say I was a wicked nite and me thoroughly enjoyed it, roll on next time!!
Area 51 was was very very banging, me really liked that, hammering hard house right till the end!!
Messy, Helen, Me and Craigy were all chilling out outside dancing on the wall in the car park etc - bangin loved it!!
Then we all went for a smoke in Craigy's Car, me dropped it when me passed it to Messy and it landed on her ankle and burnt a small whole in her shoe!! Whhooooooppss!!
Me don't fink she was too impressed!! *big sowwys and a hug to Messy*
We then went to this HH pub which was pretty good, chilled out there for ages!!
Me forgotton the name of this pub, but twas ok!!
Well that was it really, @ 0215 me left to go back to Reading, and it took me a total of about 7 hours to get home!! Waiting for trains and stuff - arghhhhhh, and then me had to be up @ 5 the next morning for work!! oooppsss!!
Ah well all's well that ends well so twas ok in the end!!
Anway, that it for now, banging w/e and I can't wait for the next time!!
