Welcome to my Mario 64 "Fastest Star Times" Page. Doing this was inspired by Curtis Bright who is a fellow Canadian who recorded his fastest star times on his "every coin in the game" website which is dedicated to SM64, if you wanna check his site go HERE and check it out, it's quite the great site and without it i never would have recorded my own times.

Each time is recorded just like Curtis' (when the music of the level starts and at the beginning of the white screen fade-in) and then stop timing when i touch the star. Also each star is done after having 120 stars already completed which means all the caps and cannons are open and available for each star.

I'm not as good as the 2 record holders, 'nor Curtis (based on videos i've seen of him so far) but the thought process of quicker ways and ideas has given me some pretty great times to make up for not being as good, i'm also not consistantly good, my star times are times i did them very well but a lot of times (like Shifting Sand Land...my nemesis level...i butcher it quite often in 70 and 120 star runs)
My 2 favorite star times are the Red Coins and 100 Coins on Cool, Cool Mountain...i haven't seen videos or heard of anyone beating my times for those 2 stars and the shortcuts i've thought of are quite good.

Currently as of March 25th my best (and only recorded) time for a 120 Star Run is 3 Hours 23 Minutes. 25 Minutes off the known record.
