It will open each Thursday and Sunday from 1:30-4:30 p.m. through October 29. Admission is free.
Artifacts from all areas of Clearfield County are on display in the museum's three floors.
Genealogists are invited to come to search for their Clearfield County roots in the genealogy library with its many family files, census records, newspapers on microfilm and assistance by the Genealogy Committee. There is a $5 charge for each researcher. Copies are 25 cents each.
The Curwensville-Pike Township Historical Society Museum is now open every Sunday from 1-4 p.m. The museum, located at 839 State Street, Curwensville, features many items from early Curwensville and a Bucktail Room which pays tribute to the local Civil War unit.
The public is cordially invited to visit the museum. There is no admittance charge.
