Spice is a tri-factored black lab female. We acquired her from Allyn & Laura Foster in December 2007. She is full of energy, loves to play, and learns quickly. She is a great family dog and spends most of her time in the house. In 2008, she graduated from puppy kindergarten and a basic obedience class that we took at Lucky Dog Boarding & Training Center. Also, she passed her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test at 10 months old. The evaluators were impressed how calm she was for a puppy. Windwalker Gun Dog Training did her basic training for Hunt Tests over the winter of 2008 when I had knee surgery. Since then, we have been working on rally obedience and Spice & I just achieved her JH title at 22 months.

Spice's sire, FC AFC Land Ahoy, "Pirate" is owned by Gary Zellner. He is by FC Fargo II and out of FC Cudashudabena Playgirl. As a youngster, he had 32 derby points with five wins and won the first open he ran at 27 months old. He achieved his FC and AFC at 3 years old and was the youngest dog qualified and entered in the 2006 National Amateur. Pirate has a total of 61+ AA points at age 6. He has back to back open wins in 2009 plus Open 2nd, Open 4th and a RJ in the first six trials. Pirate is a consistent competitor! He is a littermate to FC AFC Volwood's Angel and AFC Camino Go For The Pin.

Spice's dam, Wyldfire's High Tech CFO MH*** "Penny", is owned by Laura Foster. She is by FC AFC High Tech CEO and out of HRCH Rascal's Chocolate Pie MH***. Penny is a stunning, 65 pound, dark chocolate female. Penny won an AKC Qualifying at 21 months of age, earned her AKC Master Hunter title, qualified for the 2006 AKC Master National going 5 for 5 in Masters, and has AKC Amateur and Open JAMs. She spends many days a year in the field hunting pheasants, quail, ducks, geese, and chuckars. She is the ultimate house dog who is mellow and easy going, yet knows how to turn it up while hunting and trialing. Penny has QAA and MH siblings, including Pinehurst's All That Jazz*** and Hawkeyes Nick Adams***.
