Martians look absolutely human. The variations are so minute that the average observer wouldn't be able to notice the differences. Two notable observations: under extreme duress, the Martian may appear to have a green tint; during communication, the Martian may have a visible protrusion, like an antennae. Also, Martians like to call themselves Ultrians. Ultrians have been observing our beloved planet for at least 300 earth type years. They focused mainly on Europe, especially England and France. You can tell this by their language usage; they speak almost entirely Victorian English and 18th century French. Being the easily adaptable languages that they are, the Martians have adopted these as their native tongues. Aristocrats speak mainly bad French and the Plebians speak, for the most part, archaic English. Mars, as we already know it, is basically a small, thriving planet with the two aforementioned classes. Although quite small, as compared to Earth, their power extends far beyond the reaches of their orbital reference. Quite some ago, they had conquered both Jupiter and Saturn. There is one thing that should be resolved early on; Martians do not have the same names for the planets as we Tridians do. Read on.
