Welcome, to the final section of my site.    THIS IS My Montreal.   It's a truely unique city in North America. Fully bilingual, home to one of the most diverse populations in the world.  The only way to really describe it is to call it RICH !  Rich in culture, sports, nightlife, food, people, etc..
Please take a good look around. Below you will find everything you'll need to really explore this city.  Besides the numerous links to media, events, search engines, festivals, travel guides, etc. I've also included a library of photos of Montreal.
I hope you enjoy them.  Also in the works is a 35th Anniversary retrospective of Expo 67 ....................Pete  April 9/02.
1st among my list of links is a guide to Montreal's many festivals. This city is absolutely famous for them. From the International Jazz Fest, the Just For Laughs Comedy Fest, the International Film Fest,  right through to February's Festival of Lights. This place is a haven for them.

At the risk of sounding like I'm tooting our horn kinda loud, one of the things that make Montreal stand out is our food. This city is known by millions as the Gastronimic Capitol of the World. Restaurants abound everywhere. Every culture, price range, ambiance, etc. It's all here !  There are many online restaurant guides available. After checking out as many as I could, I decided to link this one. If you'd like access to others, please email for the complete list.
The Greater Montreal Live Cam Network.     See what's happening here 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Continuous feeds from more than a dozen online web cams placed all around the Island of Montreal.
This online magazine has it's cyber-finger on the pulse of what's happening in the city on a weekly basis.
It features reviews of new cd's, films, Montreal Events, and much, much more.  The standout feature for me, are the Movie Premiere's that Orcasound are involved with.    During seasons of heavy release  schedules,  it sometimes has passes to be won twice a week !
Be sure to Check it out if your planning a trip.
The Montreal Gazette     Our  only remaining English Daily newspaper. Published since 1778, it's also one of the Continent's oldest papers.
This on-line edition carries all the sections of the print version, plus has an archive section that contains everything from the previous 14 days.
The Mirror -  Montreal's Premiere alternative weekly newspaper. The new print and online versions both appear every thursday..
Montreal in Music : " I Just Wanna Stop " by Gino Vanelli  ( you need real player )
This is our 2nd alternative english language weekly newspaper. As with Mirror, and the Gazette, all the features of the actual paper are included in the online edition. New issues also come out every thursday.
This link is an excellent

THE National on-line phonebook.  Now with

This year marks the 35th Anniversary of the World's Fair that also coincided with Canada's 100th Birthday.  I've decided to mark the occasion with my own small salute. Please check it out.
