Suoh, as suggested by the quote, is
the calm and practical one of the group. Much more serious
than his companions,
his need for order is quite impossible when he is around Nokoru
and Akira. He is also the Sectretary for the Elementary
Student Coucil.
Being from a long line of ninja's,
and also the heir of the Takamura clan, Suoh is the fighter of
the trio, and a damn good
one. Even though he is just a 11 yr old kid, Souh just
about kicks ass. No one can beat him in sports and martial
arts,
and also because he is always quite calm and serene, he is a
heart throb for many of the CLAMP School gals.
He seems to be a literature buff as
well, and we can see that a bit when he and Nagisa (his girl)
recite that nature poem of
theirs. So, despite his talent for fighting, he has a sensitive
side that especially comes out when he is with Nagisa. He calls
the Fairy of the Wisteria Tree, because that was where they first
met; she playing her flute and him just finishing practicing
archery.
Suoh also is the best at archery in
CLAMP School. Winning the Archery contest from the first year he
arrived at CLAMP
School, archery is important to him. Also, when he first arrived
in grade 2, he already had his Dans in judo, karate and
tai kwon do (i think). Pretty amazing if you ask me.
One of the episodes in the series
explains how he and Nokoru met. For some reason, Suoh didn't like
Nokoru, and he
didn't know why. But after their adventure where Nokoru got
kidnapped and Suoh saved him, Suoh decided that Nokoru
would be the One he would protect.
His family, the Takamura, are the
best of the best in Japan and Suoh just happens to be the heir.
They are wanted by all
of the powerful people to protect them, but the thing is, the
Takamura only choose the ones who they protect, and Suoh
chose Nokoru. Not much is known about his family, and in the
series, we only know that he has a mother.
Suoh's mother is... well, I can
just say that I'm happy I don't have one like his. On the
exterior, she seems to be all serene
and mature. However, she seems to have these tendencies to
test her children with their fighting skills. ie, she
throws all
types of weapons at them, and they, hopefully, have to avoid the
oncoming knives. Strange, ne? Well, I guess when you
come from a high class ninja family...
