"CLAMP School integrates all
levels of education, from kindergarten through graduate school.
It was founded by the Imonoyama Group, the largest
financial group in Japan using their private finds to become a
modest educational facility for the young adults who will carry
the future of the world on
their shoulders. Dormitories, banks, hospitals, and facilities of
every kind are available in this large city-school in which
students, faculty, staff and their
relatives, a total of 10,000 live, work, and study. The school
opens its doors for all persons with some talent, regardless of
their class and wealth.
CLAMP School is known for its plethora of exceptionally bright
individuals. On the other hand, it is also known for its love of
festivities."
This is from the first episode of
CLAMP School, and it explains about everything you need to know
of the school. Except that it doesn't say that there
is also an amusement park in the school, malls, and also a TRAIN
SERVICE! Who would have running trains in their
school? It must be SO big that
it would need it. Also, there are student based festivals
held basically every week by the Studect Councils. For example,
they have equestrian
compitions, soccer matches, music concerts, plays, grand
festivals etc.
This school also has a unique way of
running. It seems that the students in the Student Councils are
the ones who are actually running the school.
There are different Councils for every level of the school, and
they have a representative from every form. They then pass
legislations, organize
events, excursions and so on, they fund the different faculties
of the school etc. So in other words, they run the school. I
guess the Rijichou has it a
pretty easy :)
Also, it is shaped in a pentagon.
This is not that important in this particular series, more so in
X. This campus is used as a haven for the Dragons of
the Heavens, and keeps the Dragons of the Earth at bay. In the
centre of the school there is the blow fish motiff that, in good
taste of the Rijichou,
hides an underground facility that is used to protect Kamui's
sacred sword.
