Nagisa is a quiet, shy and talented
girl. She is best friends with Utako, and is also in
kindergarten. She has enough
talent in playing the flute "to surpass even her
parents", her father being a musician who plays for royalty,
and her mother
a dancer. She does concerts all over the world and is also well
known, even though she is only a kindergartener.
Her playing the traditional flute is
what led her to Suoh (actually, him to her). It was when she was
practising on the branch
of a wisteria tree when Suoh (after practising archery) heard the
sweet melody of her flute. Running to where the source
of music was, he was suddenly amazed as he saw Nagisa playing. As
he called out to her, Nagisa was frightened off like a
little bird and 'flew away'. It was then when Suoh discovered his
Fairy of the Wisteria Tree.
After obsessing over her, he
suddenly had the chance of protecting her when a case was brought
to the detectives by
Utako. It seemed that everytime Nagisa practised, she was injured
or something would always happen. And, as Nokoru
heard this and knew that Suoh had a crush on Nagisa, he made Suoh
her bodyguard.
As the case came to a conclusion
(they found out that the reason why Nagisa was being attacked),
Suoh saw that he
would never have another chance to be near her. Nevertheless, a
problem cropped up, and Nagisa was 'targeted' again.
Suoh, hearing this, goes and saves her, and, overcoming their
reserve and shyness, Nagisa becomes Suoh's girlfriend.
