AK: How is the record doing? CJ: Doing great in Asia, starting to take off in the states. |
AK: You've done a few shows since its release. How have the crowds been responding to the new music? CJ: Fantastic, they love the new stuff...it reminds them of the energy on the first album. |
AK: So, you would agree that o2 sounds like early Firehouse? CJ: When Bill and I wrote this album that's the vibe we were going for. |
AK: Why was Category 5 such a diverse record and what made you decide to go with the more traditional sound on o2? CJ: Category 5 was an experiment, o2 was a return to our roots. |
AK: Who would you say has been your biggest influence as a singer? CJ: Rob Halford |
AK: Who are some of your favorite bands? CJ: Aerosmith, Kiss, Judas Priest, Lenny Kravitz, Insync. |
AK: If you could only have one CD, what would it be? CJ: Elevation. |
AK: Firehouse has toured with a lot of different bands over the years. Who would you say has been your favorite to tour with: CJ: Tesla. I would love to tour with them again. |
AK: What bands are you currently listening to? CJ: Aerosmith, Dream (great production and arrangements). |
AK: You studied Theatre at Rollins College in Orlando. What made you change your mind and decide on a career in music? CJ: Music is in my blood. |
