Altar Set-up

Many people feel that they haven't done their duty to the Gods unless an altar has been set up. This is not always true. However, if you want to set one up for a Sabbat/Esbat, here are some guidelines:

  • You want to have both the God and Goddess represented. This is usually with images. Candles, Dolls (Hi Ken, I am the Goddess Barbie!... sorry ^_^), sculpture, Whatever!

  • Have proper decorations for the Sabbat. Yule, you might have sprigs of Holly, Ostara, eggs. Get it?

  • If you have an Athame, Stave/Wand, Chalice and incense burner, these hould be on it.

  • The actual altar can be made of several things. Tables, dressers, shelves, whatever works for you!
