Black-winged Hatchetfish

Note: all hatchetfish are good jumpers. Keep a cover above the tank with all hatchetfish.

Care for the Black- winged Hatchetfish:

dH: 4 degrees----- pH: 5.5-6.5----- Temperature: 73-81 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: Freeze-dried foods, flakes, smaller insects like fruit flies and small mosquitos, etc.

 

Marbled Hatchetfish

The Marbled Hatchetfish is prone to a fish disease called White Spot. To keep the other fish safe, keep the hatchetfish in a seperate tank for two weeks and see if they get white spots on their bodies. If not, you may safely put them in the other tank.

Care for the Marbled Hatchetfish:

dH: to 20 degrees----- pH: 5.5-7.0----- Temperature: 73-82 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: can't survive only on flake foods. Feed it lots of live foods.
