Micky was born to George and Janelle Dolenz on March 8th 1945 in Los Angeles, California.  He had 3 sisters named Gemma Marie, Deborah, and Gina.
When Micky was  7, Doctors found out he had a disease called Perthese and he had to have one leg put up behind him and when it was over with, one leg was an inch shorter than the other.
When he got a little older he starred in the childrens TV show "Circus Boy".  He played the circus boy that was named Corky.  He also learned to play the guitar at that time.  Evenually the show was cancelled in 1958 and Micky's parents thought that he should have a normal childhood instead of being a child-actor.
When Micky was about 19 or 20 he joined a local band called  "Micky and the One Nighters" but theu evenually kicked him out, and then in 1966 he auditioned and became one of the Monkees.
In 1967 he met his first wife Samantha Juste while on some Monkee business in England.  She was working on a show at the time, but she evenually moved to America and lived with Micky and they got married and had a daughter and they named her Ami Bluebell Dolenz, before getting a divorce.  Later Micky got married to Trina Dow, and they had 3 daughters, Charlotte Janelle, Emily Clair, and Georgia Rose, but Micky and Trina later got divorced.
After the Monkees had disappeared in the 70's, Micky did an album with Davy Jones, Tommy Boyce, and Bobby Hart.  They also toured.
In 1984 Micky started his Physics Doctrate and unfortunatly he didn't finish because the Monkees came back, and at first Micky didn't want to do anymore tours but then he thought of how much fun it would be. At first Peter, Davy and Mike all refused too, then Peter accepted and recorded a single with Micky, then Davy eventually joined them and they made the album "Pool It"  and Mike toured for a little while.
So Micky toured with the Monkees again and in 1997 they put out the album "JustUs"  and Micky put out two solo albums, and he also has an art show with his paintings.
