Body 1979 GH Scorpion Bracket behind rear number plate removed GL grill and headlights. Original aerial replaced with hidden one inside windscreen Soon to be repainting in Janu yellow. Engine Standard internals, except for balance shaft elimination. Shaved head, currently with 2 litre cam. Weber 32/36 dgav. Twin ignition coils and 8mm Top Gun leads Electic fuel pump Lightened front pulley. Extractors and 1 3/4" sidepipes exiting each side just before the rear wheels. Drivetrain Standard Suspension 1" front sway bar from GJ Sigma wagon, with aditional K-Mac swaybar below original. Monroe GT Gas Shocks all round. Lowered Kings Spring all round. Brakes Standard. Interior Original grey interior, with rear parcel shelf recovered in grey vinyl. Dash repainted in yellow, with silver guage surrounds and Dash mat. Yellow 'Scorpion' gear knob Gold and silver annodised pedals. Plans to retrim door panels and seats in yellow Wheels 14x6 hotwires all round, with 195x60 Goodyear NCT3 on front and 235x60 Bridgestone Eagers on back. 3mm spacers on front so wheels clear tie rod ends (Wrong offset). Electrical 530 CCA battery. Gold and platinum coated battery terminals. 4 guage battery cables. 70amp alternator from Magna. 8 guage alternator power cable |
This Scorpion was unfortunately written off when a Commodore ran up the back of it. I stripped it of some of the better parts to keep for my project GE Scorpion, then sold it to a friend who is in the process of repairing it.These are the mods that are still left, and what he plans to do to it. |
