Nobody Wants to Be Lonely A StS Songfic by Willow-chan 2001 Author's Notes: A fic pairing Aiolia and Marin; inspired after a days work, I watched MTV and my pen started flying accross the page... litteraly, I could hardly read my own scribble! BEST read if you're listening to the song. |
| It still surprises me how nicely can a song
fic be written, and how many feelings it can portray and
reflect. First, Keily made me laugh and clap at her Real
Slim Shady's Gemini song fic, and now Willow proves that
laughter is not the only thing that a song fic can
provoke, but also tears. I particularly dislike both
Ricky Martin and Cristina Aguilera, but that thought
didn't even cross my mind when reading this story. Willow
manages to portray Marin and Aiolia's feelings in a very
cinematic way, that almost resembles a music video, with
cameras zooming in and out of a race through Sanctuary
until they stop at wonderful and heart-rending ending,
and the lyrics are following each action so smoothly that
is hard to say if its the song the one that leads the
characters, or the characters the ones giving the song
its strength. If you like song fics and romance, you will
enjoy reading this story! And remember to tell Willow
your opinion on her story, c & c are the best reward
