| Page 143... Defense Against Flubber Birds. Flubber Birbs look innocent, even cute, in their regular form. They have big, baby blues eyes, and light blue feathers. The way you tell that it is a Flubber Bird is by it's call and it's marking. It's call is like a soft coo and very soothing. It's marking is it's black diamond like mark ob it's forhead. Be warned, they are cute, but highly dangerous. Listen to it's coo, and your mind will go blank for a couple of hours. Look into it's eyes, and you'll be put into a never-ending sleep. You will feel like flubber! You'll learn how to defend yourself right now. It's quite a simple spell. Preform the Silence Charm (Silentio) on yourself. Now, you won't make a sound and the bird won't know you're there. Their sight is terrible, but their hearing is excellent. If they do manage to hear you, preform they Silence Charm on them, and close your eyes. Remember this, and you'll be safe against Flubber Birds. |
