1993
In May
of 1993, Doug Blair (then fresh off his W.A.S.P. '92 world tour)
was at a Society's Children show (another band I played with that
year) @ the Sting in New Britain, CT. Following this performance,
he approached me about filling Johnny Rod's shoes in W.A.S.P.
Well, that's how I spent the summer/fall of that year, including
a video shoot in Long Beach, CA in September. Doug, Stet and myself
did a few gigs as "Practically W.A.S.P." on the East
Coast (being that Blackie was missing!) and that was how we kept
the material somewhat fresh in our minds, should we receive the
call to hit the road...
W.A.S.P. Video Shoot
- Long Beach, CA - September, 1993:
In a 16-hour
video filming marathon, we shot a video for "Sunset &
Babylon", which was a bonus track on the "First Blood,
Last Cuts" best of CD that was released that year. We also
shot footage for tracks from "The
Crimson Idol"
for a home video that was never released...
