Tyrant

1982-1986

In 1982, Black Trigger obtained another member, Dave Mariasi's high school chum Jim Simko to play lead guitar. I switched to bass and TYRANT was born! With the emergence of such bands as Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Ratt, we decided to have two guitarists, thus forming Tyrant's "Twin Attack!" The band seemed to have members come and go - there's a shot of most of them below. This was a fun time to play in a band and when glam metal ruled. Bands like Poison, Motley Crue, Dokken, and Ratt (notice the Ratt inspired logo wallpapering this page?) helped fuel our desire to look as silly as possible, while picking up as many chicks as we could fit into our cars!
