1991-1994

In it's three year reign, the King was a metal monster that obliterated all in it's path. As irony would have it, one of the tightest bands I ever played with is also the only one I didn't play bass for! On a whim, I happened to go to one of the band's rehearsals and sang a few Metallica tunes for a goof. Meatcake (as they were known at the time) needed a singer and they talked me into filling the void so they could do some gigs! As the ad below implys, they weren't interested in any "posers", however, if you want to start doing some gigs, you'd better take what you can get!! Anyway, a demo and a number of gigs later, we were having a great time crushing audiences with our Slayer/Sepultura type music in a state that didn't exactly welcome thrash with open arms!
