Welcome to my Severus Snape website, dedicated to one of J.K. Rowling's most complicated of characters. There are very few out there who actually like Severus Snape just as an awesome character in a wonderful story. There are some who like him for perverted reasons, intellectual reasons, weird physiological reasons, but there are only few who just like his character in a fictional sense. I mean the imagination is a wonderful thing that has been given as a gift by God, and it is really just a fun relief from reality to get lost in a good story. Once you are in a good story, everyone wants to find a character to follow in an imaginative setting. Thus, this is why we have favorite characters. They are the ones we cheer for while we read. Having a strong foundation in Jesus Christ enables everyone to enjoy things more. We know that in reality all things of this life are only vanity and chasing after the wind. We know there is something so much more important than just our imaginations. With this knowledge of such unchanging security, we are more apt to enjoy life and the wonderful blessings that God gives us. We are more apt to enjoy life's frivolities because we have a strong security that is unwavering. We live in this world, but we aren't part of this world. Nothing can hold us to this world, and because of that we can enjoy everything within its context.
This is why I am such a strong advocate for Art, the imagination, and creativity! These are blessings and talents given to us by God and I believe we should use them to ultimately glorify Him, even it is about wizards in another world with magic and such.
Basically that is why I created this website. I called it Snape’s Solice because I wanted there to be a website that keeps fiction within its context and yet has fun with J.K. Rowling’s most intriguing character. I don’t like Snape websites where it has perverted displays of homosexuality and sexuality. I do not support that here on this site. I support good, clean, wholesome, and sane fun that concerns Severus Snape’s character within the context of the fictional realm of imagination. Thank you!
