Chicolete Creek Hunting Club
We are privileged to be allowed to hunt this property. Members of my family have hunted this property for over 60 years and the lease is over 85 years old. We get together every year to come and enjoy the great out doors.

This is a hunting club of about 11 to 12 members on approximately 6000 acres, in the county of Lavaca Texas.
We don't have the largest deer in the state but they are not the smallest either.(125-145 B&C)

We are in the MLD program for Texas Parks and Wildlife. That means we survey and collect harvest data every year in order to provide a better view of the deer herd in our area. This helps the state make management decisions about how many deer  need to be harvested from the area to maintain a healthy deer population.
