History: This is the 5th year there has been a Native American Language Class offered through the Pioneer IETV network.

Class Content
The Cheyenne Language is divided into two components; Cheyenne Language and Cheyenne Culture. The language section is taught by Joyce Twins from Calumet HS and the Culture section is taught by Quinton Roman Nose from Watonga HS. The class is composed of first year (Chey I) and second year (Chey II) students. This two year (2 credit) class satisfies the Foreign Language requirement of a pre-college curriculum for high school students.
