Cheryl is a speech-Language pathologist who provides speech therapy services in Mobile and Baldwin Counties in Alabama. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed with the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA). Cheryl received her B.S. degree from the University of Montevallo and M.S. degree in speech pathology from the University of South Alabama. Additional professional training was received at the Sparks Center, University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Cheryl has 24 years experience in public schools as a speech-language pathologist in the Mobile County Public School System and Pascagoula City School System. She has worked part-time (PRN) in nursing homes for Sundance and Novacare Rehabilitation groups. She is currently providing early intervention speech therapy services for infants and toddlers through Goodwill Easter Seals of Mobile.
She has received numerous awards including: Teacher of the Year-Augusta Evans School, Golden Key National Honor Society & Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, Easter Seal Community Service Award, and awards from the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama (SHAA).
