"Interpretations of Monk" was originally produced by Verna Gillis for WBAI in February, 1979.
The 1981 concert was accompanied by a slide presentation by Charles Stewart, a film clip of Monk playing "Blue Monk" (1957 - collection of David Chertok), a sculpture of Brad Graves ("In Walked Bud", limestone - 1976).
