| I was cyberpet shopping when I came across a huge oasis, the Egyptan Dessert. I walked along the sand dunes untill I came across a temple of some sort. The double doors were open so I just let my self in. There was quitle a lot of people waiting in line to get some sort of coccoon. A person, Jona, was giving them out. I looked at the stages of live chart and decided to get one. As I was about to get in line something caught my eye. A shiny, shimmering object was sticking out of the foot of one of the pillars. I went to go investigate it. It was a cluster of small icycles about the size of one of those big marbles. Careful not to poke myself, I tried to pick it up. Some tiles on the wall next to it slide to the side and revealed a icey, white tunnel. A cold, sweet scent came out of it. I looked around to see if anyone was looking and slid into the tunnel. It wasn't 10 yards into the tunnel when I came out. It was a very large room made of ice and it was very cold. I took a few steps and slipped on the ice. "Whoa!" While I was struggling to get up I heard a concerned voice, "Oh my! Are you alright, dearie?" I look up to see an elegant white adult Egyptis standing with a cocoon at her feet. I studdered, "Um...yea, I'm ok...if you don't mind me asking - who are you? ....And why are you down in here?" She paused a moment, then said, "Well I've been down here as long as I can remember. I could never seem to get the entrance open so I stayed down here, waiting." "Oh..." I finally had gotten to my feet and looked at the cocoon. "Is that yours?" "Well, I wouldn't call it mine.... I found it down here along with these: |

"With these I was able to read the writings on the walls. They said that the cocoon was to be raised by human for it is the sacred cocoon of ice." The Egyptan shrugged. "I wonder what it could mean. Well anyway, you should keep it." She nudged it over to me. "I simply could not raise it down here" I hesitated, then lean over and picked up the cocoon. It was as soft a silk but very cold. Then I said, "But why can't you raise it? I mean you found it." She smiled. "My time has soon to come, I wont be able to live long enough...please, you take it..." And with that she laid down, wearily. Feeling quite awkward, I climbed out of the tunnel, gently clutching the cocoon in my arms. Luckily, no one was in the temple. I exited through the double doors, some what excited. ^_^ |
