Tricia's Rubber Stamping Corner

Rubber Stamping is one of my favorite all time hobbies. I have great plans for this section of my website. I hope to have lots and lots of tips and samples to help others come up with ideas. One thing that I love to do is decorate my home with rubber stamps. Below are some pictures of my most recent project, the bathroom. I could not find a shower curtain that I liked anywhere. I searched and searched the stores, the internet, the catalogs, nothing was to my liking. So I decided to make my own. I ordered the stamps and I was a stampin' maniac.

Here is a great stamping Link, it's an awesome site called Cat Lady Crafts! Check it out!

Stamps Used:
Stampin' UP! Definitely Decorative Lighthouse set
and the sand stamp from the Stampin' UP! Scenery Set
Supplies Used:
Acrylic paint, sponges (cut up), paper plates, and old tooth brushes (to clean stamps).

This is the entire shower curtain. It took me about 3 hours from start to cleanup to stamp the shower curtain.
This is a close up of the scenes on the shower curtain. The sky, ocean and sand were done with sponges, the rest was done with Stampin' UP! stamps.
This is the wall scene. This took less that 30 minutes to do. I started with this and moved on to the shower curtain. I still have a border to do around the other side of the room and I plan to do something that I can put in a frame. I am looking for a garbage can and tissue holder that I can stamp to match.
