I'm sure you have all found yourselves, at some time, where you weren't supposed to be... It happened to me at least twice.

      Will start with the last time, when we were having all day sessions at church, and I attended because at that time I was a trustee (no laughter, please). As usual I didn't pay attention to details of who was to meet right after lunch, so showed up at the church for a meeting that I wasn't supposed to attend.

      One of the other members asked me if I had misunderstood..............well, duh, if I hadn't misunderstood would I be here? So I went back home and never did go back for the rest of the meetings.

      The other time I was about 5 years old. My parents and I were at church for the Christmas Eve program. Our church was a beautiful old building with a huge room for Sunday School classes and another huge room for the main room. A beautiful tree stood on the stage, decorated for the occasion with giant strings of lights and gorgeous old trimmings.

      The children in the program were in the Sunday School room, each group waiting their turn to go through the doorway onto the church stage to present their part of the program. I stood a little to one side, watching the group preparing to go onstage. It looked kind of interesting to me, as though that particular class was going to have a lot of fun.

      There were approximately 25 or so children, and as I had nothing to do at the time, I wandered over and joined the group. Before I knew what was happening, we were all going through the door that led to the church stage where they were to present their section of the program.

      To my dismay I realized I had no business being there, and had no idea of what I was supposed to do, so stood there smiling an inane smile at the audience, hoping they would think I was part of the program.

      As there was no way I could decently leave and go back into the Sunday School room, I had to keep that smile on my face for the entire program until, thank goodness, it was over and I could escape.

      Hopefully I learned my lesson.............if not, I could use some help from chatter friends. Please tell me if I'm somewhere I'm not supposed to be........
