Buddee

I am Buddha Gill (aka Buddee).
I was born at home, yes a pampered youngster, who was the runt of the litter.  My earliest recollections are those of a HUGE fur mountain which moved, hurriedly towards the door with a terrified look on his face and Meowmie laughing and trying to keep him by my fur mothers side and saying Look Jacques you have wonderful little brothers and sisters!
From a young age I soon learnt to eat, firmly attaching myself to my fur mother and not budging.  I spent my youngest days eating and sleeping, so much so that when it came time to try exploring the outside world, well the lounge room, we had moved from the Maternity Wing (Meowmies study) I found that whilst all my siblings where scrambling out of the basket and running around exploring their new environment I couldn't even walk, let alone run! My Meowmie had to help me, she carefully supported my back legs and gently helped me down the ramp she built, using cushions, from my basket to the floor!   I had such a fat tum that she laughing said I looked like a little Buddha, needless to say the name stayed, although I must say that I am now very slim and taut with NO sign of a paunch! The other "person" who helped me to walk, was my adored "fur mountain", Jacques.   Whilst all my siblings were racing around exploring and clambering over him, I just looked sorrowfully on.   So he very gently and carefully came over and laid down beside me.   Oh he was HUGE but I just looked up into those beautiful soft gentle black/brown eyes and knew he was my friend.   He very gently prodded me, so that I could walk onto his massive paw and then gradually as I learnt how to walk I was able to clamber further up and over him.   He was my pal then and still is to this day!   I am one very lucky Kitty to have a beautiful gentle giant, he's a German Shepherd, to look after me and protect me, even if he does interfer with my hunting!
