Friday night, the 25th of February saw the celebrations of local music nerd and party animal Charissa, at the Emerald Room of the Gallipoli Legion Club.

Much to the amusement of the downstairs patrons, guests arrived with ruby slippers, and witches hats, check shirts and copious amounts of tinfoil.

Karaoke was a huge success, memorable moments including Steven-wicked-witch-of-the-east's "I'm Too Sexy For my House", and everybody's favourite (...ahem) Christian grrls' "YWCA".

D.J Kieran was in the house, many many thanx to him for his work on the Karaoke machine. Kieran and Simone warmed up the crowd with their own funky stylin, and groovy moves.

The night was still young, and the party was beginning to crank.

Cupcakes and Fruitloops proved to be the perfect accompaniment to beer, and the bar staff were enjoying the proceedings with amused grins.
